When you need copy that gets results, you want a process you can trust—one that’s organized, transparent, and built for your success.
Working with a copywriter should feel simple, collaborative, and even a little exciting. Here’s what you can expect when you team up with me to put your ideas into words that sell.

Let’s Talk About You
Every project begins with a conversation. We’ll schedule a kickoff call or exchange emails—whatever suits you best. I want to know what makes your business tick, what sets you apart, and what goals you have for your copy. This is where you can tell me everything: your story, your audience, your challenges, and your vision. Don’t worry about having all the answers; I’ll ask the right questions to draw out the details that matter most.

Project Proposal
Next comes the blueprint. I’ll send you a detailed email summarizing what we discussed and outlining the main points of the project. Then, I’ll prepare a formal proposal. If adjustments are needed, just let me know. Once we’re both happy, you sign electronically and we’re good to go.

Digging Into the Details
This is where I roll up my sleeves. I’ll review any existing materials you have—website, brochures, brand guides, or even scribbled notes. If you don’t have much to share yet, that’s okay. I’ll do my own research into your industry and competitors to see how we can make you stand out. This is also when we’ll set clear objectives for the project and agree on timelines. The more I understand your customers’ pain points and motivations, the better I can write copy that speaks directly to them.

Crafting the Copy
This is where your ideas start taking shape. Using everything I’ve learned, I’ll craft an initial draft tailored to your voice and goals. Every word is chosen with purpose—designed to grab attention, build trust, and inspire action. You’ll receive the draft on schedule (no surprises) and get a chance to review it with fresh eyes.

Review & Revisions
Collaboration doesn’t end here! Your feedback is crucial. Maybe you love it as is; maybe you have tweaks or new insights. Either way, I’ll revise the copy based on your comments—fine-tuning tone, clarifying key points, or adjusting calls-to-action until it feels just right.

I offer unlimited revisions for 30 days after delivery to make sure the final copy hits the mark. Most projects require only minor tweaks, but I won’t stop until you’re satisfied.

Final Delivery & Wrap-Up
After revisions are complete and you’ve signed off on the final version, I deliver the finished copy in your preferred format (Word, Google Docs, etc.).

Payment & Next Steps
For small projects (under $1,000), payment is due in full before work begins. Larger projects require a 50% deposit up front with the remaining balance due upon final delivery (net-15). Monthly retainers are billed at month’s end (net-15).

Great copy isn’t always a one-and-done job. If you need more tweaks as things evolve, or if you want help launching your new content, I’m here for follow-up questions and ongoing support.
